I see tourism as one of the strongest economic drivers for our country. We have such a rich and diverse cultural landscape to share and it would be a shame if the world doesn't get to see it one day. But

"the only way it will benefit everyone, is if
it's done in a clean, sustainable and non-exploitative way."

The beauty of the Philippines lies in its people and its landscapes, we should never forget that, people aren't here to see destructive tourism practices that may seem like a profitable idea, but ruin the potential for future generations.

I've always pledged to be responsible but also respectful of the places I visit, and

"As this world becomes more fascinated with travel,
even more that we need to start leading the practice of responsible tourism."

If we can show our visitors that we can positively and respectfully do the small deed of bringing a bottle or eco bag and cleaning up after ourselves, then there wouldn't be a doubt they'll keep coming back to enjoy the wonders of our country and the entire world.

As soon as you decide to travel, you are deciding to place yourself in someone else's environment... someone else's home. No matter what, you are going to have an effect on that area.

By actively engaging in sustainable practices while travelling,
we minimize our negative impacts not just on
the environments we explore, but on other people's lives.

We also encourage positive practices that will benefit not just the areas we travel to, but our own homes.
